4 flight attendants hospitalized after flight leaves Tampa: American Airlines

CHARLOTTE ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — American Airlines said four of its flight attendants were taken to a hospital for evaluation after a flight from Tampa to Charlotte landed.

Officials said the Airbus A321 experienced unexpected turbulence. Of the 154 passengers and 6 crew members on board, only the four attendants reported possible injuries.

The flight left Tampa around 5:39 p.m. and arrived in Charlotte around 7:05 p.m., according to Flight Aware.

The company sent Queen City News the following statement:

“American Airlines flight 2905 with service from Tampa (TPA) to Charlotte (CLT) landed safely at CLT after encountering unexpected turbulence. We thank our crew members for their professionalism and our customers for their understanding.”
