Two people were shot to death in the Oklahoma City area over the weekend.
About 7:25 p.m. Friday, police responded to a shooting in an apartment complex in the 3800 block of Dunjee Boulevard in Spencer.
Sherratt Johnson, 49, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police learned the suspect, who has not yet been charged, was walking away from the scene. Officers arrested him and took him into custody.
The suspect and Johnson appeared to have been in a dispute when the suspect pulled out a gun and shot Johnson, police said.
A second person who was shot was taken to an area hospital and treated for an injury that was not life-threatening.
One killed at northeast OKC hotel
About 3:10 a.m. Saturday, police responded to a disturbance at a hotel in the 5400 block of N Lincoln Boulevard.
Officers discovered the body of Joel Rodriguez, 28, in a hallway on the second floor. Rodriguez appeared to have been shot to death.
