HOUSTON – Police are looking into what led up to a child getting hit by a car Tuesday morning in south Houston. Details are limited so it’s unclear how everything unfolded but the Houston Police Department says it was called around 7:40 a.m. to the 8000 block of Cambridge St. at El Paseo St. That’s where an unidentified child was hit by a car and rushed to the hospital.
