WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) – Some Kansas residents woke up early Tuesday morning to rubles of thunder, heavy rain and flooded roads. Areal flood warnings were issued for Lyon County and portions of Chase, Marion, McPherson and Ellsworth Counties. Flash Flood warnings were later issued for portions of Lyon County, including Emporia, and Coffey and Osage counties.
