President of Jesuit High School announces resignation

After a 16-year tenure as president of Jesuit High School, Father Richard C. Hermes, S.J. announced his resignation, effective on September 1. The longest-tenured president in school history, the Jesuits U.S. Central and Southern Province are reassigning Hermes, of which Jesuit High School is an apostolate. Jesuit’s Board of Trustees has begun making plans for the transition to new leadership. Jesuit principal Mike Scicchitano will serve as acting president.
