CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Cedar Rapids city council members unanimously approved bids for three construction projects. The most expensive is the Water Pollution Control Facility project. Engineers estimated the project would cost $277.5 million, but the cheapest bid was tens of millions more than that. The project will cost the city $355 million.
