BATTLE CREEK, MI — Police are investigating a shooting that injured a pedestrian after a car pulled up and the driver began firing. Officers were called to Cliff Street and Nelson Street around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, where they found a 23-year-old Battle Creek man with a gunshot wound to his left thigh.
