BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bakersfield College is set to host its Renegade Farmer’s Market for students and community members.
The farmer’s market is set for Aug. 20 at 10 a.m. near the outdoor theater, according to college officials. The campus is located at 1801 Panorama Drive in northeast Bakersfield.

Free fruits and vegetables will be distributed to BC students and community members.
Visitors are asked to bring their own reusable grocery bags and arrive early. Parking will be available in the P3 lot near Panorama Drive and Mount Vernon Avenue. There will also be parking available in the 45 minute visitor parking lots.

The farmer’s market is set up by the Renegade Nexus, which is a campus resource for students to receive basic needs, such as food and hygiene products.
Enrolled BC students have access to the Renegade Pantry when it is open, which is Monday through Thursday.
