Delcambre Shrimp Festival – August 14, 15, 16, 17, 18

Honoring the shrimping industry, the 72nd annual Shrimp Festival features a shrimp cookoff, live entertainment, carnival rides, fais-do-dos, a boat parade, queens’ pageants, a food court, and much more.

Geek’d Con – Shreveport – August 16, 17, 18

Held inside the Shreveport Convention Center, Geek’d Con is Shreveport’s Comic Con. The event will include over 200 vendor booths, celebrity guests, and lots of family-friendly fun.
