KENTUCKY ( FOX 56 ) — Multiple first responders from Kentucky are on the West Coast battling wildfires.
The Kentucky Division of Forestry said 30 first responders are assisting in various capacities in California, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.

The wildfires have burned more than 3,100 square miles nationwide.
Nearly 30,000 firefighters and support personnel are doing their best to fight the flames.
