GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – At a meeting, Alachua County Commissioners gave the green light on selling a property in Micanopy and purchasing one in Gainesville. At an Alachua County Commission meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 13, commissioners voted to let the city of Micanopy purchase the land that was once supposed to be a Dollar General near the intersection of SE Tuscawilla Rd and US 441.
