Richmond residents can donate frequent flyer miles so kids with critical illnesses to go on a trip

WRIC 8 News informed Richmond residents that they can donate their frequent flyer miles so that kids with critical illnesses can go on a trip of a lifetime.

WRIC 8News is partnering with Make-A-Wish for its Wishes in Flight telethon, where viewers can donate their air miles.

About Make-A-Wish

Data shows that nearly 75% of local Make-A-Wish wishes involve traveling. Currently, nearly 100 kids are waiting for their wishes to come true so they can travel throughout the continental United States.

To help cover costs, 8News is asking viewers to donate their unused airline miles to help kids and their families travel to their destinations.
