LARGO – A proposal to rename a section of Ulmerton Road after U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Matthew S. Sitton moved one step closer to becoming a reality last week. State Rep. Berny Jacques attended the Aug. 16 Largo City Commission meeting to request support for a resolution in honor of the Largo native and highly decorated soldier who was killed in action in Afghanistan in August 2012. He was 26 years old.
