When discussing the Ohio State Buckeyes with Rece Davis on the ESPN College Football YouTube channel , Pete Thamel revealed which team he’s assuming will win The Game in 2024.
Davis and Thamel addressed the top dogs in the Big Ten, Ohio State, Oregon, Michigan and a few others, but noted the Buckeyes and Ducks as the primary contenders for the league in 2024. Thamel noted that OSU does have a couple of tricky contests on their schedule, one they ought to win but one they very well may drop.
“I think Ohio State’s going to be very good,” asserted Thamel. “I think they’re a playoff team. I think they’ll beat Michigan.”

Those were his quick predictions on the Buckeyes, one being a victory over the Wolverines to snap the three-game skid vs. UM. If Ohio State can pull that off, then a potential loss vs. Oregon from earlier in the season wouldn’t hurt so much.
