Spokane Police lift shelter in place warning in Indian Trail neighborhood

SPOKANE, Wash – Spokane Police sent a warning to people living in the Indian Trail neighborhood to stay inside Wednesday morning, as they dealt with a potentially dangerous situation in the area.

Spokane Police say there was a suicidal man in his home in the 3700 block of West Indian Trail Road and they worked to diffuse the situation.

Police don’t believe anyone else is in the home.

This is near Assumption Church.

According to SPD, officers were able to “successfully de-escalate” the situation.

The road closures in the area were lifted around 7 a.m.

Police had been on the scene since 2:45 am.
