Two Boise Residents Extracted From Crashed Vehicle 26 Miles Southeast of Grangeville

GRANGEVILLE – The Idaho State Police is investigating an injury crash that occurred Tuesday at about 3:00 p.m. on Highway 14. According to police, a white 2008 Ford F350 pickup, pulling an enclosed trailer, driven by an 85-year-old man from Boise was traveling westbound on SH14 at milepost 16.6, approximately 26 miles southeast of Grangeville. The vehicle struck a large rock on the right side of the road causing the driver to lose control and overturn the pickup. The pickup landed on its top blocking both lanes of travel. Extrication was needed to remove the driver and the passenger, an 85-year-old female from Boise. Both occupants were transported to a local hospital by ambulance.
