Albuquerque shines on Yelp board game cafe list

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – After a long day of soaking up the hot summer sun, you might want to stay in and play a few board games to cool off. For those in the know, Albuquerque is a choice spot to engage in some tabletop goodness and Yelp users have taken notice.

A recent Yelp list ranking the 20 top board game cafes named two Albuquerque spots: Empire Board Game Library in Nob Hill and Slice and Dice Pizzeria with locations on the west and east sides of town.

Empire boasts a 4.7-star rating based on 106 reviews. In her review, Erika T. of Washington, D.C. was very impressed. “Great service, knowledgeable staff who can teach most games and fabulous drinks,” she said in her review.

Slice and Dice has a 4.6-star rating based on 160 reviews. Fiana S. of Albuquerque gave the restaurant a 5-star review and was a fan of their gluten-free options. “My friend was able to get a gluten-free [pizza[ with cauliflower crust and they said it was really good, and my version with vegan pepperoni instead of the bacon was so good,” she wrote.
