DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Crews in Dorchester County are working on Wednesday to save an elderly man from his home, which is surrounded by about four feet of standing water.
Rescuers with Summerville Fire and Rescue are working to help the man escape from his home on Parkers Ferry Road near Adams Run by the Ashley River.
A swiftwater rescue boat was sent to assist in the operation.
