Research data shows potential economic impact of Amendment 2

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – The Kentucky Center for Economic Development has been crunching the numbers to determine the potential impact if Amendment 2 passes in November. “The constitutional amendment is really broad,” said Jason Bailey, Executive Director. “It gives the general assembly the wide-open authority almost like a blank check to do whatever they want to do as far as subsidizing private schools. So it’s very important that when folks think about how they want to vote on that they understand what is likely to happen.”
