A San Jose Police Department officer has been charged with multiple counts, including felony domestic violence, after allegedly assaulting his pregnant girlfriend and discharging his firearm within his home. Officer Timothy Hackney, 31, faces accusations of false imprisonment, assaults, and using his duty weapon during a domestic dispute, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
