Michigan man, woman struck by alleged intoxicated driver suffer lifelong injuries

WESTLAND, MI – A man and a woman were unloading their vehicle when they were struck by an alleged drunken driver, resulting in lifelong injuries, officials said. The 31-year-old woman and 32-year-old man, both of Westland, were hit around 7:15 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, in the area of Wildwood and Florence in Westland, according to a news release from the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office. April Marie Graves, 43, of Westland, is accused of driving while intoxicated, resulting in the crash.
