OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters is facing scrutiny from a member of Gov. Kevin Stitt’s cabinet. KOCO 5 confirmed that Education Secretary Nellie Sanders sent a letter to Walters last week saying she was concerned about lawmakers struggling to get information from the Oklahoma State Department of Education. Sanders asked for clarification on school security funding, how much money is left and whether schools can carry it over.
