Back in February, Ocana was on a flight back from Cuba, concealing over $31,000 in her luggage despite telling U.S. Customs and Border Protection that she had no cash to declare.

After the agents found the cash on her, she then told them she frequently smuggled cash, admitting she had smuggled money two to three times a month since June 2023. She also told officials she was paid $1,000 to $2,500 every time.

The SAO said agents searched Ocana, discovering an additional $71,300 in her clothing.
