WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Johnson Controls is looking for more workers. It is hosting a hiring event in Wichita on Thursday, Aug. 15, from noon until 5 p.m.
The company says it is the global leader in smart, healthy and sustainable buildings. It continues to expand and needs to fill these positions:
- Operators/general laborers
- Coil machine setup operators
- Brazers
- Steel press operators
- Electrician
- Millwright
- Advanced steel press setup operators
- Auto casing setup operators
- Tube machine setup operators

Another statewide virtual job fair scheduled for Aug. 21
Registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. Candidates will have the opportunity to be interviewed and may receive a job offer on the spot.
The hiring event is at Johnson Controls, 3110 N. Mead St .
