SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for the Ozarks.
According to the National Weather Service of Springfield, the watch has been issued for parts of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma until midnight.
“The main threat is large hail with damaging winds. While the chance of a tornado is thankfully limited, it is still non-zero,” said Meteorologist Matt Hefner.
