OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) says an accident has claimed the life of one person in a collision on the Turner Turnpike.
OHP confirms the incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. Thursday morning on the Turner Turnpike WB at mile marker 192 in Creek County. Authorities say, a 2016 Freightliner tractor was travelling westbound on the Turner Turnpike as a pedestrian was crossing the turnpike and was struck.

The Creek County Sheriff’s Office pronounced the subject deceased on the scene due to injuries sustained in the collision.
Police say the name is being withheld pending notification of kin.
