JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man died after attempting to walk across a Westside street early Thursday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. FHP said a man driving a sedan was traveling west in the outside lane of Normandy Boulevard, and the man was walking southbound on the outside shoulder of Hammond Boulevard just after midnight.
