Police narrowing in on suspects following stray bullet hitting Syracuse school bus

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The suspects involved in a shooting that inadvertently struck a school bus are closer to be identified according to police. On Highland Street just after 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, Syracuse Police officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation where they found multiple casings on the scene and learned that a bus was struck by one bullet. At the time, the bus was carrying four elementary students, the driver and the bus monitor. All of them are uninjured according to police.
