Albuquerque State of the City Address set for August 17

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – This year’s State of the City address will be held August 17 at the Albuquerque BioPark Zoo. The community is invited to attend and enjoy a free family night at the zoo following the address.

PNM launches new rate plan that aims to lower bills

This year’s theme is “A Future Worth Fighting For” and Mayor Tim Keller will highlight the city’s priorities, initiatives and give people a look at the city’s future plans and ongoing efforts. Following the address, people are invited to enjoy an evening at the zoo. Animal habitat viewing will be available, along with live music. There will also be interactive activities for all ages.

Schedule

  • Mayor’s State of the City Address: 6:15 p.m.
  • City Department Expo and Animal Habitat Viewing: 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.
