SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Calif. – More than six months after officers detained and towed 88 cars in a February sideshow, 87 of them still remain impounded. The large sideshow happened in Stockton, and it saw the sheriff’s office block off Country Club Boulevard while crowds of people were detained and guarded by deputies with non-lethal weapons.
