Officials at the Boulder County Coroner’s Office are currently engaged in a complex identification process after remains were found during the aftermath of the Stone Canyon Fire last month. The fire, which began on July 30, near Lyons, Colorado, has left behind a forensic challenge due to the condition of the skeletal remains.
