SPOKANE, Wash. — If you missed your chance to get a free backpack filled with school supplies? We have good news!
The Salvation Army of Spokane is holding an additional backpack giveaway Monday, August 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the location on Indiana Avenue and Lidgerwood Street.
Backpacks for students K-12 will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last.
Parents and guardians will need to bring a photo ID of themselves and proof of every child in the household such as a birth certificate or Social Security card.
