DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. – A man is dead following a shooting at a Family Dollar store, according to the DeKalb County Police Department on Thursday. According to police, officers responded to a call about a person shot at the 7000 block of Covington Highway just before 4 p.m. Thursday. When they arrived, they found a 25-year-old man shot in his chest. Emergency Medical Services quickly transported him to a nearby hospital, but despite efforts, the man later died.
