Boise School District pays $400,000 in settlement with former Timberline Teacher

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) – A former Timberline High School teacher is receiving $400,000 as part of a settlement agreement with the Boise School District. Last year CBS2 covered extensively the unfolding story of Laura Boulton, a teacher who leveled accusations at the District of failing to investigate properly student claims of sexual abuse or misconduct. During a press conference held by Ms. Boulton last September, she claimed the district had failed to follow up appropriately on or investigate mandatory reports she had helped students file alleging sexual abuse in the District.
