No one hurt when 2 homes catch fire in Three Rivers

THREE RIVERS, Mich. (WOOD) — No one was hurt when two homes caught fire in Three Rivers early Friday morning.

Around 5:20 a.m., crews with the city of Three Rivers Fire Department were sent to the area of 4th Street and Michigan Street for a house fire.

While crews were on the way, the Three Rivers Police Department said that a second home was on fire and officers were helping to evacuate the second home.

When crews arrived, they quickly worked to extinguish the fire. The fire department said they had the fire under control after about 20 minutes.

No one was hurt.

The extent of the damage has not been released.
