The Oregon Department of Forestry Team 2 has gained the upper hand on the Dixon Fire, ahead of Red Flag conditions. A fire update said there has been no new fire growth for a third consecutive day. It remains at 1,997 acres and is 23 percent contained as of Friday evening.
