Scattered Showers and Thunderstorms to Hit Columbus and Cincinnati Today, Warmer Temps to Hold

According to the latest National Weather Service, OH forecast, residents in Columbus and Cincinnati should anticipate a mix of scattered showers and the odd thunderstorm today. A low-pressure system through the Great Lakes is the culprit behind today’s wet forecast. With some daytime heating, the NWS report noted that scattered showers will develop through late morning and become more numerous through the afternoon. A few thunderstorms could also briefly interrupt the skies during afternoon hours. However, don’t reach too deeply for the winter wardrobes just yet. Even with this weather disturbance, temperatures will remain in the mid-70s to lower 80s.
