Wellness CNM holds community baby shower for expecting students

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Wellness CNM teamed up with two local sororities to host a community baby shower and diaper drive for first-time parents this weekend.

The Wellness Department wants its students to be able to focus on their studies while on campus as the new parents are enrolled there.

Organizers said this event is to help alleviate some of the costs associated with childcare, like baby wipes and diapers. They also stated students can stop by the Community Wellness Center on campus to pick up baby essentials if they missed the event.
