CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – A strong cold front will arrive late today bringing the potential for a line of strong to severe storms. Most of today will be dry, sunny and hot as temperatures climb into the low 90s with heat index values between 105-110°. There will be a slight chance of a storm this afternoon but a better chance of storms heads our way this evening, perhaps after sunset. It appears the best chance of storms will move west to east across the area between 6 – Midnight. Gusty winds, dangerous lightning and heavy rainfall are all possible.
