BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A traffic collision left one car overturned and traffic at a standstill for a short period of time on eastbound Highway 178 Sunday.
At about 2:50 p.m., at least three vehicles were involved in a crash Aug. 18, on Highway 178 near Beale Avenue that left a car overturned and at least one person trapped in the vehicle for a short time, according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information page. The #1 and #2 lanes were shut down for a brief moment, causing a backup on the eastbound lanes of Highway 178.

Injuries were reported to be minor. A 17 News photographer on scene saw one person being transported to the hospital.
The pinned victim was reported to be walking around out of the vehicle shortly after the wreck, according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information page.
Some of the vehicles involved were a white Acura SUV and a blue Toyota sedan.
