ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police Department (APD) said there was a deadly shooting on Sunday.
While in the Barelas area responding to a crash, officers were flagged down by someone who claimed there was a crash near Gold Avenue and 5th Street SW.
Airman stationed at New Mexico base dies
APD said officers found a “male victim” with gunshot wounds; he had died. A second victim was discovered, and they were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Homicide detectives are investigating the case.
