Creating a ripple effect: Dublin Jerome teen has passion to give back

He’s 15 years old, accomplished and determined to help.

“Growing up, I had many traits, such as being optimistic. I always looked on the bright side of a situation, even if the odds were against me,” said Aarush Gupta.

“I was respectful, but still curious to learn more about the general way of life and just wanting to gain more knowledge. This really shaped my outlook on helping others.

“My curiosity guided me toward this path and really made me passionate about helping others. This has played a big influence on me now, as I’m able to help people like I dreamed to do as a kid.”

All those traits came together for Gupta, as he now volunteers and gives back to the community .

“I believe if anyone has the right resources, they should always give back to the community,” he said.

“I’ve volunteered at many places, such as my local library, the National Junior Honor Society, Habitat ReStore, gardening in the city parks and volunteering tennis lessons to young players.
