8News has compiled a list of eight restaurants in the Richmond area that offer gluten-free food options on their menu.
WPA Bakery
- Location: 3414 Semmes Avenue
- Hours of Operation: Open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays
According to the bakery’s website , WPA Bakery makes gluten-free donuts every Sunday. Some of WPA Bakery’s gluten-free offerings include cookies, cupcakes, brownies and muffins. The bakery also makes gluten-free cakes, pies and cheesecakes.
Toast New American Gastropub
- Location: 7007 Three Chopt Rd.
- Hours of Operation: Open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays, 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays, and 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays.
Gluten-free items on Toast New American Gastropub’s menu include pork nachos, loaded cheese fries and shrimp tacos. Many of the restaurant’s burgers and sandwiches offer a gluten-free option. For weekend brunch , huevos rancheros, waffles and chorizo tacos are some of the gluten-free options.
