Four ordered to trial in Bakersfield Hells Angels case

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Four men linked to the Bakersfield chapter of the Hells Angels have been ordered to trial on charges including robbery and assault.

Charges of gang participation were dismissed, according to court records.

Ricardo Alvarez, 42, Armando Villasenor, 54, Joshua Zavala, 31, and Joshua Vaughn, 37, are due back in court Aug. 27 for bail review.

Three others — Joseph Soto Sr., 57, Joseph Soto Jr., 33, and John Seeger, 57 — have a preliminary hearing scheduled later this week.

Alvarez, Villasenor, the Sotos and Zavala are patched members of the biker gang, officials say, while Vaughn and Seeger belong to the Sons of Hell Motorcycle Cub — which takes orders from the Hells Angels.

According to sheriff’s reports, the Hells Angels went to their former Bakersfield clubhouse — they moved to a new location about a year ago — five times from March 1 to April 11.

They encountered an older man who now lives on the property and who tried to stop them from taking items, the reports say.
