‘We’re in dire need of help’: Oklahoma Attorney General investigating contractor

EL RENO, Okla. ( KFOR ) — An El Reno family has been waiting since November of last year for repairs on their roof to start. According to the Attorney General’s office, they aren’t the only ones.

The owner of Trimaster Construction told News 4 he would be sending a crew to El Reno last week to finally start the job. However, the family said that still hasn’t happened.

“I just don’t think he ever planned on coming back. I’m sorry, I don’t mean to cry,” said Beverly Knight.

Emotions are at an all time high for Knight and her family.

They paid over $2,000 for a new roof in November, but said the contractor has left them in the dark for months.

“He came out and measured the roof on the house and said that he would be back the next day and we’ve never seen him again,” said Knight.

Knight said the home has been in her family for years and it belongs to her brother and sister-in-law.

Nine months ago, the roof began to wear down so they contacted Trimaster Construction.
