A CenterPoint rate decrease could be coming after a ruling from a judge. A judge denied CenterPoint’s request to dismiss its rate review late Friday. CenterPoint must now appeal or resume negotiations with cities that believe the utility is overcharging ratepayers. They are calling for Centerpoint to decrease its rates.
