‘Swenson Park is for all of us’: Stockton mini golf, Toptracer Range to open spring 2025

Swenson Park Golf Course in north Stockton will soon have major additions added to its grounds.

In July, a groundbreaking ceremony for the Family Fun Golf Center at Swenson Park Golf Course took place to commemorate the beginning of construction.

Stocktonians can look forward to having a miniature golf course and a Toptracer-covered range tee facility completed by next year.

Joseph Smith, general manager of Swenson Park Golf Course told The Record on Wednesday after a fencing ribbon cutting, that construction will start in the fall around October or November.

“They had a mini golf course here when the city ran and managed the property, and it closed in the mid-’70s. It was here, in the same spot that we’re putting the new one,” Smith said.

The project is expected to be completed by early spring 2025, with hopes of opening to the public on April 1, Smith said.

“Once complete, the Family Fun Golf Center will include 12 state-of-the-art Top Tracer hitting bays for use on the lighted driving range along with an 18-hole miniature golf course,” a KemperSports news release states. “The updated golf facility will only add to the already expansive junior golf and player development programming at Swenson Park Golf Course.”
