City of Birmingham gets more than $4 million for Real Time Crime Center

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – The City of Birmingham’s Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) was recently awarded $4.2 million in funding as part of the federal government’s Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024. U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.), a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, recommended the allocation for the city.
