SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – On Monday, Southern Manatee Fire Rescue was dispatched to a structure fire where one person was found dead inside. According to the department, the fire was reported at 6902 W Country Club Dr. N. Crews arrived on scene and spotted heavy flames and smoke. This is the portion of Sarasota that falls into Manatee County jurisdiction.
