Developer withdraws proposal for blighted site, Ann Arbor to start new search

ANN ARBOR, MI – Ann Arbor is starting a new search for a developer for a blighted city-owned site officials have talked about redeveloping for the past couple decades. A developer the city tried to line up recently backed out, leaving City Council voting 10-0 Monday night, Aug. 19, to direct staff to hire a real estate broker or seller’s agent to solicit new competitive offers from developers interested in buying the property at 415 W. Washington St.
